Eve Wiley is a Licensed Professional Counselor and play therapist. She received her Masters of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University, and Bachelors degree in Psychology and Behavioral Neuroscience from The University of Texas at Austin. She previously served on the Saint Michael’s Episcopal School Board, and trained teachers in social emotional learning curriculums.
Eve sees children, teens, adults, and families. She is a dedicated and compassionate therapist specializing in parent training to address parent’s accommodations to childhood behaviors like anxiety, depression, learning differences, ADD/ADHD, child- parent conflict, and ODD.
With over a decade of experience, Eve has helped numerous families develop effective parenting strategies to build healthy, nurturing relationships with their children, and individuals overcome interpersonal struggles.
As a parent training therapist, Eve understands that parenting can be both rewarding and challenging, and she believes that every family is unique. She takes a customized family system approach to her work, tailoring her therapeutic interventions to meet the specific needs of each family she works with. She uses evidence-based practices, such as positive parenting techniques, Interpersonal therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, SPACE, Child Parent Relationship Therapy, and other behavior management strategies/ communication skills training to help parents develop effective ways to manage their children’s behavior, build healthy relationships, and create a harmonious family dynamic.
Eve believes in building a collaborative, direct, and trusting relationship, where a person feels heard, supported, and empowered. She provides a safe space for clients to express their concerns, ask questions, and learn new skills without judgment. Through her compassionate and empathetic approach, Eve helps individuals develop greater self-awareness, build their confidence, and strengthen their interpersonal skills.
