Elizabeth Meador earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Texas Christian University and a Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology from the University of Texas at Dallas. She is a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist in the state of Texas and a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association.
Elizabeth has experience evaluating and treating a wide range of communication disorders, but specializes in working with children with receptive and expressive language disorders, articulation and phonological disorders, social communication deficits, and childhood apraxia of speech. Elizabeth places a strong emphasis on using a child-led approach, incorporating sensory and motor strategies, and building meaningful, trusting relationships with both her clients and their families.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys spending time with her husband and their two kittens, Olive and Goose. Some of her hobbies include attending yoga classes, baking, and cheering on the Horned Frogs!
