Anna Buchholz is a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate supervised by Jill Wiedman, LPC-S, RPT-S. She received her Master’s degree from Southern Methodist University in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Georgia in Psychology. Anna has been a member of the Housson Center team since 2023 and has experience in schools as an educator and counselor.
Anna enjoys working with children, teens, and young adults through life’s challenges. She believes in an integrated, evidence-based approach and utilizes her training in developmentally appropriate play therapy, activity therapy, cognitive behavioral, and mindfulness-based practices to help young clients navigate anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, life transitions and other emotional issues. Anna works closely with families to support lasting emotional growth and resilience. A Dallas native, Anna spends her free time with friends and family, enjoying the outdoors, and cheering on the Bulldogs.
