Ally primarily sees adolescents and young adults, utilizing a strengths-based cognitive behavioral (CBT) approach to address anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, executive function deficits, and other emotional or behavioral challenges. She encourages her clients to identify the negative thought patterns that do not serve them and work to restructure them in a way that promotes a higher self-esteem and confidence level. Even in an individual therapy session, Ally views each client in a systemic context, paying close attention to the role of family and other environmental factors.
A proud Ursuline alumna and Dallas native, Ally enjoys spending time with family and friends. She can usually be found in a spin or heated sculpt class, or on the couch with her husband and dog watching tv – as she is a big believer in balance.
